The bridge bearings and baseplate are the basic parts and important components of the Bailey steel bridge. Because Bailey Bridge is divided into 321 steel bridge and HD200 steel bridge, the bridge bearings and baseplate can also be divided into 321 type and 200 type.
Type 321 abutment: The end column of the bridge is supported on the axle beam of the abutment. The axle beam is divided into three sections. When a single-row bridge is erected, the truss end column is supported on the middle section of the axle beam; when a double-row bridge is erected, two bridges are used The seat and end columns are respectively supported on the middle section of the two axle beams of the abutment. When three rows of bridges are erected, two abutments are still used. Supported on the two side sections of the axle beam of the other bridge bearing.
Type 321 baseplate: The baseplate is used to place the bridge abutment and evenly distribute the load from the bridge abutment on the foundation. Numbers 1, 2, and 3 are engraved on the edge of the baseplate, which respectively indicate the position of the centerline of the bridge abutment for single-row, double-row, and three-row bridges. On the other side of the seat plate is engraved the position of the centerline in the direction of the bridge.
200 type bridge bearing, the baseplate is the same as 321 type, but the structure is a single body, and each bridge bearing corresponds to a baseplate.
