The support frame is used to connect multiple rows of trusses to ensure the stability and uniform force of the bridge truss unit. The support frame can be connected to the top of the upper chord or the vertical rod.
There are six common support frames (also known as flower frames, flower windows);
Type 321 is commonly: 450 support frame, 900 support frame, 1350 support frame;
200 type is commonly: 480 horizontal support frame, 480 vertical support frame, 730 horizontal support frame, 730 vertical support frame.
The support frame is as follows: the support frame is used to connect the first row and the second row of trusses. Double-row single-story Bailey steel bridge, in the center of the top surface of each truss (or reinforced chord), a support frame is installed horizontally. In the case of double rows and double layers, in addition to installing a support frame on the top surface, a support frame must be installed on the rear vertical rod of the upper truss (one vertical rod at the front end of the first section of the truss should also be installed). When erecting a three-row bridge, the location and number of support frames are the same as those for a double-row bridge. When installing, insert the 4 hollow sleeves at both ends into the support frame holes of the two rows of trusses, and then fix them with the support bolts.
In deck bridges, most of the support frame size is 900 or 1350, and there are also special rod connection systems according to needs, and most of them are installed with support bolts.
